Job Summary

alfanar Electric is seeking a Sr. Engineer Electrical Maintenance to oversee and manage electrical maintenance activities at its Industrial Complex in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing and implementing maintenance procedures, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, and supervising a team to ensure efficient and safe operations. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and provide technical support for the prompt resolution of unplanned machine breakdowns to meet production targets.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance to preserve machine lifetime and ensure reliability, adhering to a structured plan.
• Manage and control electrical spare parts for factory machines, ensuring timely maintenance and adherence to cost reduction objectives.
• Design and execute modifications for production machines to address problems, enhance productivity, or introduce new product generations.
• Manage, train, and coordinate the electrical maintenance team, recording work in SAP for machine history and tracking working times.
• Plan and oversee electrical installation for new machines and coordinate relocation work with the mechanical team.
• Ensure compliance with EMS policies and OHSAS standards, maintaining a secure working environment.
• Report progress on machine maintenance activities, including monthly reports on preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and spare parts stock.
• Implement the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain workplace standards.
• Contribute to energy cost reduction efforts and offer recommendations for efficient resource management.

Role Accountabilities

• Train subordinates, provide leadership, coaching, and direction, and ensure fair task distribution.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within efficient cost and time, reporting deviations.
• Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate well-defined systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and train technical teams.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electrical maintenance issues.
• Experience with SAP for maintenance record-keeping is preferred.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based at alfanar’s Industrial Complex in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh. The complex spans 700,000 square meters and includes comprehensive infrastructure.
