The Role of Storekeeper

Averda is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support warehouse and inventory operations in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for the efficient handling and tracking of materials, ensuring accurate inventory records, and maintaining compliance with operational procedures. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, storage, issuing, and movement of materials within the warehouse.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation for accuracy in quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely inventory records using the inventory management system.
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.
• Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment and appropriate reorder levels.
• Assist in identifying and minimising obsolete, redundant, and slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate material delivery and movement between warehouses and operational sites.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inventory, ageing, and stock-related reports.
• Ensure materials are appropriately labelled, organised, and stored for efficient warehouse operations.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and warehouse procedures.
• Identify and report inventory, operational, and safety risks within the area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a storekeeping or similar role.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and manage warehouse operations efficiently.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on supporting efficient warehouse and inventory operations within Averda's environmental services framework.
