About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing an opportunity to support surveying activities across various land, property, and construction projects. The role involves assisting in the collection of accurate measurements and survey data, contributing to significant construction, land development, mapping, and infrastructure initiatives under the direct supervision of senior surveyors and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting land, topographic, and construction surveys utilizing instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital levels.
Support the establishment and verification of survey control points and benchmarks.
Aid with construction setting-out and layout activities for buildings, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
Collect, record, and maintain survey measurements, field observations, and comprehensive survey notes.
Help prepare survey drawings, maps, sketches, and reports using AutoCAD and other specialized survey software.
Participate in as-built surveys to verify completed works against project drawings and specifications.
Assist in identifying site discrepancies and reporting findings to senior surveyors or engineers.
Support boundary surveys and property measurements in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under direct supervision.
Coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to facilitate survey activities.
Ensure the proper handling, maintenance, and secure storage of all surveying equipment.
Adhere strictly to company procedures, project specifications, quality requirements, and established surveying standards.
Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and actively engage in safety initiatives.

Required Tools and Technical Skills

Candidates should have practical exposure to and a willingness to learn the use of various surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital levels. Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD and other survey software for preparing drawings and reports is essential. The role also requires the ability to perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision.

Experience and Qualifications

0-1 years of experience in surveying or a related field.
A foundational understanding of surveying principles and practices.
Ability to work effectively under the supervision of senior surveyors and engineers.

Work Environment and Compliance

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires coordination with various project stakeholders, including contractors and site personnel. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold all company procedures, project specifications, and quality standards.
