About the Opportunity

UCC Holding is seeking a Land Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering a foundational role in supporting diverse surveying activities within land, property, and construction projects.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Land Surveyor supports the accurate collection of measurements and survey data essential for project execution. This role is integral to various construction, land development, mapping, and infrastructure initiatives, providing an opportunity to gain practical experience under the direct supervision of senior surveyors and engineers.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting land, topographic, and construction surveys utilizing equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and digital levels.
• Support the establishment and verification of survey control points and benchmarks.
• Aid with construction setting-out and layout activities for buildings, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Collect, accurately record, and maintain survey measurements, field observations, and survey notes.
• Help prepare survey drawings, maps, sketches, and reports using AutoCAD and other relevant survey software.
• Participate in as-built surveys to verify completed works against project drawings and specifications.
• Assist in identifying site discrepancies and reporting findings to senior surveyors or engineers.
• Support boundary surveys and property measurements in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
• Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to facilitate survey activities.

Equipment and Software Proficiency

Candidates will be involved in the use and maintenance of various surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital levels. The role also requires assisting with the preparation of survey documentation using AutoCAD and other specialized survey software.

Qualifications and Professional Standards

This position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a related field. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of surveying equipment. Adherence to company procedures, project specifications, quality requirements, and surveying standards is mandatory. Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and active participation in safety initiatives are also essential aspects of this role.
