About the Tamheer Program Field Engineer Role

GE HealthCare is seeking a Tamheer Program Field Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is focused on managing all resources and logistics required to perform service and maintenance activities at customer sites. The position contributes to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products within the healthcare sector.

Role Context and Operational Framework

The Tamheer Program Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing the execution of various maintenance services, including preventive and remedial, as well as managing maintenance facilities and field services engineering. This role operates within a well-defined operational framework, generally following a step-by-step sequence of standard tasks. The individual is accountable for the quality of their own work, subject to direct operations supervision, prescribed work instructions, and systems checking.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets.
• Supervise the construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct specialized activities including on-site machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
• Make engineering decisions relevant to field operations.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, potentially including support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad areas.
• Apply general knowledge of business, understanding how the work of the team contributes to the overall area.
• Resolve issues using established procedures, consulting supervisors or more senior team members for matters outside of defined instructions or parameters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve operational issues.
• For customer-facing interactions, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE, exchanging technical information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.

Qualifications and Experience

• Basic experience (0-1 years) in Services & Field Services.
• Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
