Dar Al Riyadh, a prominent company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly experienced Technical Design Department Manager. This full-time role is central to managing the company's extensive design operations and ensuring the successful execution of projects across its regional footprint.

Role Summary

The Technical Design Department Manager will lead the Design Office operations, encompassing activities across Riyadh, Khobar, Egypt, and the Philippines. This position ensures effective coordination between all engineering disciplines and the timely delivery of high-quality design projects. The manager oversees critical functions including resource planning, design governance, multidisciplinary coordination, and operational excellence, working closely with all Discipline Heads.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the Design Office across all regional offices.
• Coordinate and integrate the work of all Discipline Heads, including Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, Infrastructure, and BIM.
• Ensure the timely delivery of design projects, adhering to quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize workload distribution across different offices.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, design procedures, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination meetings and facilitate the resolution of technical issues.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, digital engineering, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Prepare management reports, resource forecasts, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in design office management or a related engineering leadership role.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing operations across multiple regional offices, requiring a comprehensive understanding of diverse operational environments.
