Technical Lead Software Development

About the Role

Aroma City Group is seeking a Remote Technical Lead Software Development to join their team. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 5-10 years of experience and offers an attractive compensation package. The role involves leading technical operations, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and managing project boards across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical operations for the development team and across multiple concurrent projects.
• Translate business and customer requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements and specifications.
• Manage Jira boards across multiple projects, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, ticket breakdown, and progress tracking.
• Track team progress and provide regular status reporting to leadership.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to the development team, including design and code reviews.
• Lead technical discussions within the team and assist in resolving design and implementation questions.
• Represent the company in customer-facing technical meetings, such as requirements sessions, architecture reviews, and security or compliance discussions.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical solution documents, and presentations for both internal and customer audiences.
• Support proposal and pre-sales work by providing technical input, estimates, and solution design.
• Define and help enforce engineering standards and best practices across projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 7 years of hands-on software development experience, including experience leading or mentoring a development team.
• Strong experience with a core technology stack including .NET on the backend, React on the frontend, and Flutter for mobile.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, with comfort working across both on-premise and cloud deployment environments.
• Strong grasp of integration patterns, including designing and reasoning about how systems, services, and APIs connect.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards.
• Experience managing project work in Jira (or a similar tool) across multiple concurrent projects.
• Confident and polished communicator comfortable presenting to and engaging directly with customers, including enterprise and government stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams and solution documentation.

Work Environment

This is a remote, full-time position. The role involves working with a development team and engaging with customers in technical meetings.
