About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Trade & Promotion Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to enhancing sales force productivity through robust data analysis and strategic insight generation. The role focuses on optimizing sales operations and ensuring tactical alignment with overall company objectives within the Riyadh region.

Role Purpose and Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to gather and organize critical sales data, generating deeper channel insights to significantly improve sales force effectiveness. This involves developing potential solutions to challenges across key areas such as customer segmentation and sales resource optimization. The manager will be instrumental in delivering timely information and insights, highlighting emerging problems, misalignments, and other challenges to relevant stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop sales operations policies and procedures to optimize performance.
  • Work directly with sales representatives in the field to identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain existing sales reports and design new reports as required to meet evolving business needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of decision-support tools.
  • Act as the primary liaison for sales force automation projects and emerging trends.
  • Ensure the sales force operates tactically in line with strategic objectives.
  • Verify that everyday tasks are aligned with the overall company strategy.
  • Analyze the D&A (Discretionary & A&M - Advertising & Marketing) budget by channel and region, proposing changes to increase Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses to gain deeper insights into business performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in trade, promotion, or sales operations management.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, organize, and analyze complex sales and channel data sets.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sales force effectiveness solutions.
  • Strong background in generating performance reports and managing administrative programs related to sales.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a proactive approach to working both independently and in collaboration with various teams, including direct engagement with sales representatives in the field to identify and implement improvements.
