About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch - J02 is seeking a Value Added Services (VAS) Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to cultivating strong relationships with our last-mile delivery partners. The specialist will focus on building connections, optimizing delivery processes, and resolving operational issues to foster long-term successful partnerships within the delivery ecosystem.

Role Objectives and Context

The primary objective of this role is to ensure our suite of value-added services, which includes legal support, insurance offers, and uniforms, effectively meets the demands of both internal Amazon customers and our Last Mile Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). The VAS Specialist will play a crucial part in negotiating services on behalf of our partners, directly contributing to their operational success. This involves both the introduction of new services and a continuous effort to challenge existing processes for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with last-mile delivery partners.
• Assist partners in establishing and refining efficient delivery processes.
• Resolve any issues encountered by delivery partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Negotiate value-added services, such as legal support, insurance, and uniforms, on behalf of partners.
• Manage all aspects of partner relationships, from contract establishment to performance monitoring.
• Develop dashboards and conduct in-depth analytical deep dives to support business priorities.
• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.

Work Environment and Engagement

The VAS Specialist will be based at DRY3 and is expected to conduct regular visits to various sites and stores. This on-site presence is essential for maintaining close involvement with every aspect of the delivery process, providing the necessary visibility to effectively guide our logistics partners and ensure service quality.
