About the Role

Hays is partnering with a leading regional asset management platform that is establishing its international investment offering. This initiative begins with a focus on US real estate and private equity, with strategic plans for expansion across additional asset classes and geographies over time. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but offers flexibility for remote work from any GCC country.

Role Context and Impact

The Vice President, International Product Development, will be responsible for building this international investment platform from inception. This mandate involves shaping the offering from the ground up, providing a direct opportunity to own the entire build-out process. The role reports directly to a highly regarded CEO within one of the region's prominent asset management firms, which is experiencing significant growth in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and cultivate relationships with tier-one international General Partners (GPs).
• Negotiate commercial terms to integrate GP strategies into the regional market.
• Lead investment and operational due diligence processes for prospective managers and funds.
• Manage products from initial concept through committee approval, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management.
• Develop the necessary regulatory and fund structuring framework to deliver US real estate and private equity strategies to regional investors in a compliant and tax-efficient manner.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management product development, fund structuring, manager selection/fund-of-funds, or alternatives distribution.
• Demonstrated experience in Private Equity & Real Estate is essential.
• Cross-border US structuring exposure is highly desirable.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position. While the role is associated with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, relocation is not a mandatory requirement. The selected candidate has the option to work remotely from any GCC country.
