About the Opportunity

Role Overview

This position is designed for a professional with 2-5 years of experience who holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the university through instruction, research, and departmental service. The medium of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is English.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct teaching activities in Analytical Chemistry.
• Engage in research within the field of Analytical Chemistry.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the academic department.
• Perform any other academic duties required by the faculty.
• Be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours per week.

Qualifications and Requirements

• An earned ** degree from a reputable university in Analytical Chemistry or a related specialization such as Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Physics, or Industrial Chemistry.
• Full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if degrees were obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• This position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals.

Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in their field of specialization.
