About the Opportunity

The Department of Material Science and Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking to appoint faculty members at all professorial ranks, including Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. This is a full-time position for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research within the field of Material Science & Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Establish and lead an independent research program.
• Deliver effective instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold an earned ** Degree from a reputable institution in Material Science & Engineering or a related science & engineering field.
• Possess a strong record of published research.
• Have experience in supervising the research of graduate students.
• Demonstrate relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Have teaching and/or industrial experience in their respective areas of specialization.
• Be fluent in English, as it is the medium of instruction at KFUPM.

Compensation and Benefits
