Role Overview

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to be based in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role involves working on advanced data science solutions within Saudi Aramco, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and cloud-based technologies.

Position Focus

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the development and deployment of AI/ML models. This role requires engagement with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies, alongside proficiency in cloud platforms, containerization, and modern MLOps practices within an enterprise environment.

Core Activities

• Develop and deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Utilize cloud platforms and containerization for data science solutions.
• Apply modern MLOps practices within enterprise environments.
• Contribute to the implementation of cloud-based data science solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science, AI, or Machine Learning.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with container orchestration and cloud platforms, including Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning, LLMs, Generative AI, and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.

Preferred Attributes and Skills

• Familiarity with Hugging Face, NVIDIA GPUs, NIMs, and distributed AI environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
