About Saipem and the Role

Saipem is seeking a qualified Environmental Coordinator to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring environmental compliance and sustainable practices within the company's operations. The role focuses on coordinating environmental activities and supporting projects primarily within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for a range of duties aimed at upholding environmental standards and regulatory adherence. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Coordinating environmental impact assessments and studies for various projects.
• Developing and implementing environmental management plans and procedures.
• Preparing and submitting environmental reports to internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
• Providing environmental guidance and support to project teams and operational staff.
• Conducting site inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess substantial professional experience in environmental coordination. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience is required, specifically within the oil and gas industry. Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated experience in offshore, refining, petrochemical, or NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) projects.

Qualifications and Certifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet specific professional certification criteria. Preferred qualifications include:

• EPI/QEP certification.
• Saudi Aramco approval as an Environmental Engineer.
