Position Overview

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Chemistry. This full-time position is open to potential Saudi candidates who hold a bachelor's degree, aiming to support both research and teaching activities within the Department of Chemistry.

Role Responsibilities and Commitment

The Graduate Assistant will be an integral part of the Department of Chemistry, contributing to its academic and research objectives. This role requires a professional commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week, encompassing a range of academic and administrative tasks.

Key Duties

Key duties for this position include:

• Performing assigned teaching duties.
• Conducting research as directed by the department.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Undertaking administrative duties as required.
• Executing any other academic tasks assigned by the Chemistry Department.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• An earned bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from a reputable university.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good academic grades.
• Submission of a certificate equivalency if the bachelor’s degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
