About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking Saudi candidates for a full-time faculty position in Industrial Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry. This role is based in Dhahran and focuses on both research and teaching activities.

Key Specializations

The Department of Chemistry is specifically looking for candidates with expertise in one of the following areas:

• Inorganic Chemistry
• Chemical Physics
• Analytical Chemistry
• Industrial Chemistry

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Core responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching to university students.
• Conducting research in the specified field of Industrial Chemistry.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Undertaking administrative duties as assigned by the academic department.
• Performing any other academic duties relevant to a faculty position.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a PhD degree in Industrial Chemistry or a related specialization.
• Possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Be a Saudi national.
• Proficiency in English is required, as it is the medium of instruction at KFUPM.
