About Saipem and the Opportunity

Saipem is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore. We are seeking a Jr. Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern region, on a contract basis. This role is integral to the Engineering department, specifically supporting the SITP for Offshore project.

Role Context and Purpose

As a Jr. Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will contribute to the mechanical design of rotating equipment for critical Oil and Gas projects. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in design standards and equipment selection within a leading global engineering environment, working within the SITP for Offshore project.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and apply design standards, gaining proficiency in API 610, API 617, ASME, and Saudi Aramco specific standards and specifications for rotating equipment.
Prepare detailed rotating equipment datasheets, technical specifications, and requisition packages.
Assist in equipment selection, supporting senior engineers in selecting pumps and compressors with related components based on process requirements.
Review General Arrangement drawings, P&IDs, and vendor technical documents for compliance with Saudi Aramco and International codes.
Understand material and manufacturing requirements, learning about materials used for rotating equipment and their suitability for different operating conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
0-3 years of experience as a Jr. Rotating Equipment Engineer within the Mechanical Engineering Design field.
