About the Lecturer Physics Position

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking candidates for a full-time Lecturer Physics position. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, holding a Master's degree, and who are looking to contribute to both research and teaching within the Department of Physics.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Lecturer Physics will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Key responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, providing academic advising to students, undertaking administrative tasks, and fulfilling any other academic duties assigned by the department. The medium of instruction at KFUPM is English.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• The Master’s degree must have been obtained on a full-time basis and with very good grades.
• If the degree was obtained outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a certificate equivalency is required.

Contract and Employment Details

This position offers a two-year renewable contract. Salaries are competitive and tax-free, determined by qualifications and experience. The university provides a range of benefits and facilities to support its faculty.
