About Saipem and the Offshore Structural Designer Role

Saipem, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, is seeking an Offshore Structural Designer. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity to contribute to significant offshore projects within a leading international company.

Role Context and Contribution

As an Offshore Structural Designer, you will be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line, operating within the Offshore Structural Engineering department. Your primary contribution will involve supporting the structural design of jackets and topsides, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Key Duties and Tasks

Prepare project structural drawings under the supervision of the Lead Designer, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project standards.
Perform 3D modeling activities, developing and updating models to support the design and engineering teams.
Interface effectively with Project Specialists and other Designers, sharing information and ensuring consistency across disciplines.
Contribute to the preparation and organization of project deliverables, such as drawings, material takeoffs, and 3D models, supporting timely project execution.
Apply company procedures, industry standards, and safety requirements to all drafting and modeling activities.
Support design reviews by providing updated drawings, models, and documentation, and by implementing comments and revisions.
