Role Overview

The Retail Specialist is responsible for delivering a professional retail experience at Corallium. This full-time role involves welcoming and assisting guests, processing point-of-sale transactions accurately, and providing product recommendations. The specialist will also support the cross-promotion of the attraction's activities to enhance the guest experience and contribute to revenue generation. Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional manner, adhering to the attraction's service standards.
• Provide accurate product information to assist guests with purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including various payment methods.
• Actively cross-sell and upsell retail products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Promote the attraction's activities and offerings to encourage guest participation and increase revenue.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space, ensuring proper product display and stock levels.
• Monitor and replenish stock, reporting low inventory to the supervisor promptly.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure till accuracy and adhere to cash handling procedures at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Participate in stock counts, audits, and inventory checks as required.
• Comply with all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Context

This role operates within a fast-paced retail environment that involves direct customer interaction. The Retail Specialist will support daily store operations, contribute to sales targets, and participate in customer satisfaction initiatives. The position may require flexible working hours, including weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods. Collaboration with store management, sales associates, and support functions is integral to achieving business objectives.
