About the Role

Fairmont The Red Sea, part of Accor, is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join its team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing daily front office operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences within a luxury resort setting. The role requires a professional and organized individual to lead the front desk team, manage guest relations, and coordinate with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage front office staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee all guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage room assignments, reservations, and occupancy to optimize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, security protocols, and confidentiality standards.
  • Train front office team members on customer service excellence, hotel systems, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage front office inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to front office operations.
  • Uphold the luxury service standards and brand values of Fairmont The Red Sea.

Pre-Opening Experience

Experience in pre-opening stages is a mandatory requirement for this role. This includes involvement in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during the development phase of the resort. A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability is expected.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of front office experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance aligned with luxury standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in luxury hotel operations.
  • Multilingual abilities (Arabic, English, and additional languages).
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural practices.
  • Understanding of revenue management and hotel operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a luxury resort environment, requiring adherence to high standards of guest service and professional presentation.
