About the Role

Fatima Consultancy is seeking a Project Director Facilities Management to provide leadership, governance, and client advisory for FM delivery across major projects or portfolios. This full-time role, based in Tabuk, specifically in Yanbu and Umluj, ensures safe, compliant, and high-performing Hard & Soft Services. The Project Director will lead client engagement, contract performance, financial control, resource strategy, risk management, and continuous improvement, aligning outcomes with client priorities, standards, and agreed SLAs/KPIs. The position offers a salary of SAR 60,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior client interface, leading governance meetings, providing strategic advisory, and managing high-profile stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of FM consultancy projects, ensuring contractual, technical, and operational deliverables are met.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor DAB Consultants in line with the agreed organizational structure.
  • Lead mobilization and transition phases, define resource strategy, support succession planning, and promote a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor maintenance activities across Hard Services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ELV, civil infrastructure, BMS, fire protection) and Soft Services (housekeeping, pest control, waste management, landscaping).
  • Oversee and guide FMSP and subcontractor performance to ensure full compliance with contract and statutory requirements.
  • Review KPIs and performance metrics to monitor service delivery and drive governance processes.
  • Maintain oversight of handed-over assets, lifecycle planning, inspections, and O&M and replacement strategies.
  • Lead budget control, forecasting, cost optimization, and oversee variations, claims, approvals, and commercial risk management.
  • Own the project risk register, ensure BCP readiness, escalation protocols, and incident management, and oversee lessons learned implementation.
  • Deliver executive-level reports (monthly/quarterly) and drive digital enablement, transformation initiatives, and performance improvements.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Facilities Management, covering both hard and soft services.
  • At least 5–7 years in a client-side consultancy or managing agent role, working with FM contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-profile, or VVIP facilities in government or corporate sectors.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering Management, Facilities Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or PMP/PRINCE2.
  • Additional credentials such as LEED AP, CEM, BICSc, NEBOSH IGC, or OSHA certification are desirable.

Technical and Compliance Expertise

  • Demonstrated expertise in FM governance and compliance frameworks, including SFG20, NFPA, SBC, CIBSE, ASHRAE, BICSc, and ISO standards.
  • Strong capability in contract governance, performance frameworks, risk management, assurance/audits, lifecycle planning, operational readiness, and VVIP/critical environment protocols.
  • Ability to implement PMS Procedures, including recording observations and NCRs, and ensure continual improvement processes are embedded across projects.
