The Role of Accountant

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on Accountant to manage the financial aspects of our construction and real estate projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, tracking project costs, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires close collaboration across various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations.
• Track and monitor project costs effectively.
• Prepare and present financial reports.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts.
• Provide support for compliance requirements.
• Coordinate closely with management, project teams, contractors, suppliers, and external advisers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Previous experience in construction, contracting, project accounting, property development, or real estate is strongly preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Good understanding of core accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost control.
• Practical knowledge of Saudi VAT and electronic invoicing requirements is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using an accounting system or ERP platform.
