About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an ATD IP (Advanced) to join the KFAB O&AT operations delivery team in Tabuk. This full-time position is integral to the Entry into Service (EIS) and transition of the KFAB Hawk T-165 ATD to the O&AT Hawk T-165 Service Delivery (SD).

Role Context and Responsibilities

The ATD IP (Advanced) will support the O&AT ATD SD and operate within the ATD training Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Key responsibilities include coordinating and conducting scheduled ATD events in accordance with RSAF and BAESSA training and governance policies, and ensuring adequate instructional and support staff are available for these events. The role also involves maintaining ATD instructional standards to meet or exceed customer requirements and supporting ATD management and staff to ensure best practices in training service delivery. A significant contribution will be made to the EIS and transition of the KFAB Hawk T-165 ATD, as well as its sustained service delivery.

Training Delivery and Administration

This position requires the delivery of scheduled training on various simulators, including the Hawk T-165 Full Mission Simulator (FMS), Hawk T-165 Integrated Procedures Training (IPT), Hawk T-165 Egress Training Device (ETD), and Ejection Seat Training Device (ESTD). Additionally, ground training will be delivered in the Hawk T-165 Multimedia Computer Based Training (MCBT) classroom. The role involves utilizing the Flying Operations Training Management Information System (TMIS) and Learning Management System (LMS). Courseware updates will be performed using the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) in accordance with DSAT processes, and trainees' ground-based examinations will be administered and graded.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess extensive proven experience as a highly experienced military or ex-military IP. A minimum of one fast jet tour commensurate with T-165 capabilities is required. ATD IPs must meet contracted regulation criteria. Instructors should have aircrew experience and have completed a recognized service instructional tour, holding a QFI/QWI/FWI or equivalent instructional qualification. Competent use of Microsoft Office products is essential.

Desirable Experience

The following experience is considered desirable:

  • Hawk T-2 or glass cockpit Hawk aircraft or simulator experience.
  • Previous aircraft or simulator instruction on Hawk Lead in Fighter (LIF) Courses.
  • Delivery experience of LIF-related Computer Based Training Systems (CBT).
  • Experience in training design, syllabus development, and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) process.
