About Tarshid

Tarshid (ترشيد) is the National Energy Services Company, established by the Public Investment Fund with a mandate to catalyze the development of a more energy-efficient Saudi Arabia. Its launch is a result of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. Tarshid aims to be a pioneer in the energy efficiency field, developing, funding, and managing impactful energy efficiency projects in government and commercial sectors to achieve significant energy savings for the Kingdom and build towards a more sustainable future.

The Role of Facility Engineer I

Tarshid is seeking a Facility Engineer I to join its team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience. The jobholder will be responsible for coordinating and following up on all installation and repair activities, applying technical expertise to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow up on execution to minimize operational downtime.
Support in conducting maintenance cost analysis as a proportion of Asset Replacement Value to inform decisions on asset replacement or repair.
Assist in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Perform regular facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
Prepare weekly reports for management review.
Create and oversee maintenance requests within the ERP system.
Manage the upload of project assets into the ERP system.
Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards by reporting unsafe practices or those adversely impacting the environment.
Support superiors in planning and implementing facilities equipment maintenance programs.
Provide technical assistance to the plant in areas such as installation, startup, repair, training, and modification of power transmission systems.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in a relevant engineering or facility management field.
Demonstrated technical expertise and practical experience in installation and repair activities.
Ability to coordinate and follow up on multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with ERP systems for maintenance and asset management is preferred.
Understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
