The Role

Waad Education is seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role is vital for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of the school's facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that Waad Academy's physical infrastructure remains well-maintained, contributing to a safe, positive, and conducive educational atmosphere for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations related to facility maintenance.
• Coordinate effectively with external vendors.
• Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Support the overall learning environment through excellent facility management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Facilities Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Business Administration, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Essential experience in high-volume environments like schools, hospitals, or malls.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee and motivate a diverse team.
• Familiarity with operational challenges in educational or public institutions, including safety and compliance standards for public spaces.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
