About Parsons Corporation and the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Lead Planner to manage planning and schedule reporting for its closeout portfolio. This full-time position, based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for establishing schedule standards, developing integrated demobilization and preservation schedules, and leading comprehensive schedule reviews. The Lead Planner will provide critical path, progress, S-curve, and forecast analysis to support closeout decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee schedule reporting across the portfolio and define the status, update, review, and reporting cycle.
• Establish planning standards, coding requirements, schedule templates, calendars, reporting cut-offs, and quality checks.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules for demobilization, preservation, termination, and closeout.
• Prepare schedule forecasts covering milestones, remaining activities, contract interfaces, handovers, preservation periods, and closure dates.
• Perform critical path, near-critical path, float, logic, constraint, and schedule health analysis.
• Generate S-curves, milestone trends, progress curves, schedule narratives, and executive planning dashboards.
• Lead schedule review meetings with project, construction, commercial, procurement, contractor, consultant, and stakeholder teams.
• Assess schedule updates for completeness, logic, status accuracy, sequencing, and support for reported progress.
• Combine contract and workstream schedules into a portfolio view and identify cross-contract dependencies.
• Identify slippage, constraints, missed milestones, and forecast changes, explaining their effect on closeout objectives.
• Provide schedule substantiation for claims, disputes, settlement discussions, and final account reviews.
• Lead planning contributions to weekly and monthly reports, demobilization reports, closeout reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Support the Project Controls Manager in portfolio reviews and senior stakeholder discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 20 years of planning and scheduling experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on major projects in Saudi Arabia and/or the GCC.
• Demonstrated experience on mega-projects or mixed-use programs with multi-billion SAR portfolios and a high volume of contracts.
• Substantial experience in schedule development, review, forecasting, critical path analysis, progress measurement, and reporting.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with demobilization, preservation, termination, handover, or closeout schedules is preferred.
• Forensic planning and delay analysis experience is desirable.

Essential Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Power BI development and report usage is preferred.
• Strong command of PowerPoint, Aconex, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365.
• Technical knowledge in schedule substantiation for claims, disputes, settlements, and final accounts.
• Professional skills include clear written and verbal communication, concise executive reporting, and strong PowerPoint and presentation development.
