About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on leading the design, installation, and commissioning of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) power distribution networks for significant infrastructure developments in the region. The role requires a minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve complex electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection coordination studies, and short-circuit/voltage drop calculations for MV and LV networks.
• Supervise the site installation of MV/LV substations, transformers, switchgear, ring main units (RMUs), package substations, and cable routing networks.
• Ensure all electrical engineering designs and field installations comply with project specifications, Saudi Electric Company (SEC) standards, HCIS regulations, and international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC).
• Lead technical evaluations for critical electrical equipment procurement and witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for switchgear and transformers.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and ELV automation teams to ensure spatial coordination, containment compliance, and seamless power provisioning for MEP systems.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on large-scale MV/LV distribution and infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) status or registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) as a Consultant/Senior Engineer is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in electrical design software such as ETAP or CYME for load flow and short-circuit analysis.
• Deep technical knowledge of power transformer sizing, protection relay settings, and grounding system designs.

Additional Requirements and Skills

• Must be willing to relocate and work full-time in the Tabuk region.
• Direct experience with KSA giga-projects (*, NEOM, Oxagon, Trojena) is a significant asset.
• Strong leadership capabilities to mentor junior engineers and manage sub-contractors.
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English is required for client reporting and stakeholder alignment.
