About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Manager Dive Operations to lead the full establishment, launch, and ongoing operational excellence of a dive center at a designated asset in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, site-based leadership position requires 5-10 years of experience and plays a critical role in building a world-class dive operation from the ground up, ensuring premium delivery of all diving and underwater tourism activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager Dive Operations will oversee the daily functions and strategic development of the dive center, ensuring high standards across all activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting directly to the Galaxea Cluster Manager and actively supporting the establishment and operational readiness of the dive center.
  • Ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of the dive center.
  • Recruiting, building, leading, and developing a high-performing dive operations team, managing a workforce of up to 13 diving professionals.
  • Collaborating closely with Sustainability and SEZ departments to align operations with environmental and marine conservation requirements.
  • Leading dive excursions, delivering, and overseeing dive training and certification programs.
  • Managing all dive-related sales and revenue streams, including retail operations.
  • Supporting the long-term growth of Galaxea’s dive operations across multiple assets.

Dive Center Establishment

This role is central to the successful establishment of the dive center, from its initial planning through to ongoing operational enhancement. Responsibilities include:

  • Working in close partnership with the Galaxea Cluster Manager to plan, develop, and deliver the dive center and all associated operational components.
  • Supporting and collaborating with all Red Sea Global departments during the delivery phase to ensure timelines, targets, and operational phasing requirements are met.
  • Ensuring the dive center is delivered in line with design intent, safety requirements, operational efficiency, and brand standards.
  • Maintaining and continuously enhancing operational standards, with safety as the highest and non-negotiable priority.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the safe and professional execution of all daily diving activities and training courses.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and auditable records for all dive center activities, training, and operations.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

The Senior Manager is accountable for upholding the highest levels of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, ensuring full compliance with established policies and international standards. This involves:

  • Implementing, adopting, and complying with all functional policies, procedures, SOPs, and operational instructions.
  • Ensuring full compliance by all Galaxea staff with the DSM Red Sea Global Dive Safety Manual and all applicable international standards.
  • Applying all safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure the highest levels of employee and guest safety.
  • Promoting a strong culture of environmental responsibility and marine conservation.
  • Actively identifying and contributing to opportunities for continuous improvement across systems, processes, and practices.
  • Assisting the Senior Dive Operations Manager in preparing accurate, timely MIS reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should demonstrate a proven track record in dive operations management and leadership. Key requirements include:

  • 5-10 years of experience in dive operations, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, launch, and manage world-class dive operations.
  • Strong understanding and strict adherence to international dive safety standards.
  • Experience in team recruitment, development, and performance management for diving professionals.
  • Proficiency in managing dive-related sales, revenue streams, and retail operations.
  • Commitment to environmental stewardship and marine conservation.

Work Environment and Context

This is a strategic, multi-site leadership role operating across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations. The position requires frequent travel and flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and peak seasons, to oversee a wide range of marine and diving operations across multiple locations. The Senior Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering safe, innovative, and world-class diving experiences aligned with destination growth and vision.
