Assistant Operations Manager

About the Role

Al-Qimam Factory is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager specializing in Production & Projects. This full-time position is based in South Jeddah, Makkah, and requires specific technical qualifications and practical knowledge in manufacturing operations. The role involves direct supervision and coordination to ensure project delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage multiple production projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate effectively between various departments and workshops.
• Supervise foremen and production workers to maintain workflow.
• Allocate manpower efficiently across different tasks and projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, productivity targets, and project deadlines.
• Provide clear and timely updates on project status and operational progress.
• Resolve operational issues proactively and independently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Educational background or technical training in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret shop drawings.
• Practical knowledge of various raw materials and fabrication processes, including wood/MDF, metal, acrylic, printing, paints, and finishes. This includes understanding material selection, thicknesses, and applications.
• Proficiency in working English.
• Competency in using Excel, email, and preparing reports.
• Strong multitasking capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proven punctuality and reliability.
• Direct, hands-on experience in factory supervision.

Candidates with general administration, sales, or unrelated factory experience alone will not be considered for this specialized role.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position is fully on-site at the Al-Qimam Factory in South Jeddah. The standard work schedule is Saturday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
