About the Role

Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking a Banquets Operation Manager to oversee the daily operations of banquet and event services. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and involves ensuring the smooth and professional execution of all meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events within the hotel. The position requires close collaboration with various hotel teams to deliver service excellence and operational efficiency.

Role Context and Objectives

The Banquets Operation Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of banquet and event services, from setup to execution, ensuring alignment with guest requirements and hotel standards. This role focuses on maintaining high service quality, optimizing operational procedures, and contributing to a memorable guest experience. The manager will work closely with the Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales, and Events teams to achieve these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all banquet operations and event service activities.
• Ensure banquet events are set up and executed according to guest requirements and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Events, and Culinary teams for successful event delivery.
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction across all functions.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service standards.
• Prepare staffing schedules and ensure adequate manpower for events.
• Train, coach, and evaluate banquet team members to maintain high performance levels.
• Oversee banquet equipment, inventories, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
• Control labor and operational costs while working towards departmental revenue targets.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Banquet Operations or Food & Beverage Operations within a hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.

Experience Level

This role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a specific emphasis on 3-5 years in banquet or food & beverage operations within a hotel setting, including prior supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
