Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a dedicated Electrical Inspector to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of electrical installations across various projects.

Role Overview

The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and verifying electrical installations to ensure strict compliance with local regulations, national codes, and project specifications. This involves implementing quality control processes, identifying deviations, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and project specifications.
• Verify that all electrical work aligns with approved designs and implement quality control processes to maintain system integrity.
• Identify and address any deviations from approved plans, documenting findings in detailed inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient inspections and provide guidance on electrical requirements.
• Oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities to confirm proper system functionality and component performance.
• Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Communicate inspection results effectively to clients, project teams, and relevant authorities, offering guidance on non-compliance issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements for efficiency and safety.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector, with a strong focus on construction projects.
• Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector.
• Proven experience with a variety of electrical systems, including commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
