About MBRF and the Role

MBRF, one of the world's largest food companies, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to a company that nourishes thousands of families globally through quality and innovation.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of electrical and control systems within their assigned area. This involves proactive maintenance, prompt breakdown resolution, and adherence to stringent operational and safety standards to support the company's production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve all electrical and controls breakdowns within the designated area.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure basic operational condition.
• Uphold high standards for electrical operations, controls, and quality.
• Execute Corrective, Preventive, and Scheduled Maintenance, and manage the Kanban system.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and procedures.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper handling of chemical products and adherence to food safety (HACCP) requirements.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) and 5S compliance within the workplace.
• Reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) on production lines through effective presence and intervention.
• Analyze and report anomalies, complete M1, M2, and M3 notifications in the PM system, and confirm orders.
• Report faults and identify requirements for overhauls, PM plans, and spare parts.
• Develop lesson plans for major troubleshooting cases using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support communication with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for spares and critical issues.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support across various areas including MHE, HV, LV, Automation, and motors.
• Perform duties as a backup for the immediate supervisor when required.
• Assist in team development plans and training initiatives.
• Perform overhauling of equipment, motors, switch gears, and other factory components independently.
• Identify local support, localize spare parts, and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and contribute to the BRF Sustainability Plan and global ESG commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year Diploma in Electrical Technology or an equivalent relevant certificate.
• 0-1 years of experience in an electrical technician role.
