About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an F&B Hostess to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience for our guests, requiring a professional and service-oriented approach within our food and beverage operations.

Guest Reception and Seating

• Warmly and professionally greet all guests upon their arrival at the restaurant.
• Escort guests to their designated tables and present menus clearly.
• Maintain an organized seating chart and manage table rotation to support overall service efficiency.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, restaurant offerings, and general hotel information.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints politely and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Reservations and Coordination

• Answer phone calls and manage restaurant reservations using the designated system.
• Confirm bookings, handle special requests, and coordinate effectively with the service team for smooth operations.
• Monitor waitlists and provide guests with accurate waiting times.
• Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to optimize seating flow and guest experience.

Operational Support

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostess desk and restaurant entrance area.
• Prepare and update menus, reservation lists, and table plans as required for daily service.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
• Provide support to the wider F&B team during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in a similar guest-facing or hospitality role. A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and contributing to an efficient operational environment is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The F&B Hostess will work within a dynamic hotel setting, contributing to the guest experience in a professional and supportive team environment.
