F&B Support Expert (Dry)

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking an F&B Support Expert (Dry) to join the team in Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage services, contributing to a memorable guest experience beyond just meal delivery. The position requires 0-1 years of experience, with a preference for candidates who have previous exposure to a food and beverage environment.

Role Purpose

The F&B Support Expert takes initiative to provide a wide range of services essential for efficient food and beverage operations. This role is integral to creating a seamless and positive experience for guests by ensuring that all support functions are handled effectively and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Set tables according to established standards.
• Assist kitchen staff as required to maintain operational flow.
• Clean work areas and replenish supplies to ensure readiness.
• Provide support that enhances the guest experience during transactions.
• Maintain a safe workplace environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards in all tasks.
• Ensure professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
• Read and visually verify information, including managing menus.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Experience: No related work experience is required. Previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None required.
