Finance Business Partner

About the Role

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for leading the financial management of the Otis entity, encompassing strategic plans, financial budgeting, cash flow, and accounting and policy matters. The role involves identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities for performance improvement within the Finance Department to enhance business productivity, ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial partner to the General Manager, providing insights on the financial positioning of the Otis entity, including strategic plans, financial budgeting, cash flow, accounting, and policy matters.
• Monitor, interpret, and challenge financial results, communicating issues, risks, opportunities, trends, and performance outlook to management in a timely manner.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for the Otis entity and its functions, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversee overall financial performance, including anticipated costs/revenues, excesses/deficits, identifying areas of unsatisfactory performance and potential improvement opportunities to develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure efficient and effective management of the Otis entity's finances through necessary financial controls, systems, and processes, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing cooperation and assistance in the discharge of their responsibilities, including all Otis – KSA’s financial statements and reports.
• Direct all financial accounting activities related to accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger, and cash management.
• Manage the execution of all financial operations, including accounts payables and receivables, ensuring effective service levels to all departments within the Otis entity.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial reporting, including coordination and completion of annual audit reviews, and compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Advise management on changes in legislation or regulations that may affect the Otis entity’s business operations.
• Approve and review monthly payroll summary reports from the HR Department, critically evaluating any discrepancies or variances.

Work Environment

This role operates within the Finance Department of Otis Elevator Co. in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position requires close collaboration with the General Manager and various internal departments, as well as engagement with external auditors. The work is full-time and involves a focus on maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic business objectives.
