The Role: General Cashier

We are seeking a General Cashier to join our team in Jeddah. This is a full-time position responsible for the accurate and proper handling of financial transactions and records within the property. The role is integral to maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Conduct periodic audits of cashier banks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
• Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances in adherence to SOPs.
• Serve as the liaison between the property and armored car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and safeguard the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, prepare accurate written documents, answer telephones appropriately, and ensure task understanding among coworkers.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
