Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a GIS CAD Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This is a full-time position focused on spatial data management and analysis to support various projects within the organization.

The Role of GIS CAD Technician

The GIS CAD Technician will be responsible for performing spatial data analysis, creating detailed maps, and managing geographic information. This role involves working with various data sources and collaborating with project teams to support decision-making and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform spatial data analysis and create detailed maps and visualizations using ArcGIS Pro.
• Collect, process, and maintain geographic data from multiple sources, including satellite imagery, surveys, and field observations.
• Analyze property ownership documents, land deeds, and other legal records to extract relevant geographic and attribute data.
• Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and visualize tabular data related to land and infrastructure.
• Interpret and integrate geospatial and non-geospatial data to support decision-making across projects.
• Develop and manage geodatabases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of spatial datasets.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and planners to support spatial analysis and reporting needs.
• Prepare high-quality maps and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on GIS best practices and incorporate innovative tools and methodologies into workflows.
• Support ongoing development and enhancement of GIS capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience level of 0-1 years; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Relevant internships or academic projects will be considered a plus.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro with a solid understanding of spatial analysis tools and cartographic principles.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data organization techniques.
• Basic understanding of property ownership documents, including the ability to read and interpret land deeds.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah and involves working within a collaborative team environment, supporting various projects with spatial analysis and data management expertise.
