About the Role

Amazon is seeking a Learning Business Partner for its Fulfillment Center operations in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals only and requires 2-5 years of experience. The Learning Business Partner is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for managing the learning and development needs of all employees within the fulfillment center.

Role Context and Environment

The role operates within a dynamic and challenging Fulfillment Center environment, focusing on ensuring associates work in a safe, quality-focused setting. The learning team delivers high-quality safety compliance, process, and onboarding training to support associate success. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding business needs, analyzing issues, and influencing solutions. The individual will work closely with a central Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (MEATR) team to prioritize and deploy training programs, from large-scale process training to ongoing leader development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Learning Associates and a Learning Specialist.
  • Manage end-to-end associate and leader training programs at the site, from needs analysis to execution.
  • Collaborate with learning professionals across AMET to identify and share best practices.
  • Plan, develop, and evaluate training initiatives in coordination with the senior team and Amazon’s central leadership.
  • Identify and deploy training/coaching solutions to meet quality and productivity requirements within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Align individual leadership development plans, build a catalogue of learning content, and facilitate training delivery.
  • Provide coaching and feedback on leadership topics through one-on-one sessions and facilitated workshops.
  • Ensure full safety compliance is met within the operations.
  • Analyze data to suggest improvements for training and operations.
  • Track and communicate Learning Department goals, assignments, and progress locally and across the network.
  • Create, manage, and update training content and associate compliance audits.
  • Partner with country-level leaders to implement efficient and effective training solutions.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly senior meetings.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience managing a team with a focus on career development and succession planning.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting performance metrics, combined with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage multiple stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated initiative to understand business needs, analyze issues, and drive solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of Warehouse operations to provide efficient and effective support.
