Red Sea Global, through its specialized supply chain and logistics subsidiary, Red Sea Coastal Trading Company, is seeking a Manager International Freight and Clearing. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah, and is crucial for supporting the seamless delivery of materials and services for pioneering developments.

Red Sea Coastal Trading Company provides end-to-end supply chain management for Saudi Arabia’s ambitious regenerative tourism projects. The subsidiary focuses on efficiency, reliability, and environmental responsibility, ensuring every link in the supply chain supports Red Sea Global’s commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and local value creation.

Role Overview

The Manager International Freight and Clearing plays a pivotal role within the transportation and logistics industry. This position involves coordinating the movement of goods to ensure efficient and secure shipments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, carriers, and other logistics professionals to manage shipments smoothly throughout the entire supply chain process.

Core Duties and Tasks

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
• Arrange transportation and logistics services, such as trucking, shipping, and air freight, to meet the specific needs of each shipment.
• Prepare and process necessary shipping and customs documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Provide customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the freight forwarding process.
• Collaborate with other members of the logistics team to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.

Operational Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service, and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practice, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Required Qualifications

• A recognized degree in Data Science, Analytics, or a Data Management related field (MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in a supply chain and logistics operations field (preferred).
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
