About the Role

Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a Networks Security Engineer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for safeguarding the organization's network infrastructure and data against evolving cyber threats. The role offers a competitive salary and focuses on implementing, managing, and monitoring robust security systems.

Role Purpose

The Networks Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive protection of the company's networks, systems, and sensitive data. This involves maintaining strict compliance with internal security policies and relevant industry standards, while actively defending against potential cyber threats through proactive security measures and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
Administer and manage Fortinet solutions such as FortiGate and FortiMail.
Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools.
Identify system vulnerabilities and develop and implement remediation plans.
Perform regular security assessments and coordinate penetration testing activities.
Manage and enforce security policies, rules, and access controls across the network.
Investigate and respond promptly to security incidents.
Ensure compliance with established cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards.
Collaborate with various IT teams to secure infrastructure and applications.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all security configurations and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Strong experience with network security technologies, including Firewalls, VPN, and IDS/IPS.
Hands-on experience administering Fortinet solutions such as FortiGate and FortiMail.
Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Skills and Certifications

Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are considered an advantage.
Experience with cloud security environments, specifically Azure or AWS, is preferred.
Exposure to Security Operations Center (SOC) operations or incident response activities.
Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NCA, or similar frameworks.
