About MenaBev and the Role

MenaBev is a prominent company in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, serving as an authorized bottler and distributor of PepsiCo beverages across the western region of Saudi Arabia. The company manufactures, sells, and distributes a wide range of beverages, operating the MEGA Plant in Jeddah, which is recognized as one of the world’s largest Pepsi bottling facilities, spanning over 300,000 square meters. MenaBev is committed to delivering high-quality products and achieving excellence in production, distribution, and customer service. We are seeking a dedicated Production Engineer to join our full-time team in Jeddah or Makkah.

Purpose of the Role

The core purpose of the Production Engineer is to ensure the production of high-quality products in line with established plans, while optimizing the utilization of all available resources within the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop task lists and work schedules for the shift to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
• Minimize waste by strictly following Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Enhance efficiency and extend asset life by reviewing production processes, overseeing basic machine maintenance, and optimizing changeover activities.
• Manage the received production plan, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely execution.
• Maximize productivity and efficiency through effective shift planning and scheduling.
• Manage and maintain the ERP system, ensuring accurate input and output data for quantities, downtime reasons, and raw materials.
• Report daily production performance accurately and on time.
• Analyze daily production downtime during meetings and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
• Adhere to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Comply with PepsiCo Best Practices and carry out all tasks as per standard operating procedures and company policies, including HSE, FS, and GMP standards.
• Assess, coach, and train team members on technical skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a production engineering role, preferably within the FMCG or beverage manufacturing sector.

Work Environment and Standards

The Production Engineer will operate within a framework that emphasizes World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Strict adherence to PepsiCo Best Practices, company policies, and all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Food Safety (FS), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards is mandatory.
