About the Role

Napco National is seeking a Production Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity for professionals with 0-1 years of experience to contribute to manufacturing excellence within a dynamic industrial environment.

Role Purpose

The Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production, and enhancing product quality. This involves applying engineering principles to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support the development and improvement of products from raw materials to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and plan work and project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short and long-term objectives.
• Utilize standard equipment and office automation systems and software effectively.
• Develop new products and create, execute, and upgrade design solutions to improve product aesthetics, ergonomics, usability, marketability, and production.
• Observe asset status and determine its condition based on indicators and real-time data to prioritize and optimize maintenance resources, minimizing cost and asset downtime while maintaining efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles, including Just In Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, and PDCA.
• Operate all steps and activities for required production machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other applicable instructions.
• Develop, implement, and enhance processes, tools, and training to enable quick responses to customer needs and market changes while controlling output, quality, and cost.
• Generate the required output with the least necessary resources.
• Effectively schedule production activities to minimize production time and cost, and maximize operational efficiency.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress, and finished products against performance and standard limits, using lab equipment to uncover and address deviations.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of emerging technologies in industrial production.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Principles and related tools.
• Familiarity with various machinery, spare parts, tools, and other items used in maintenance practices.
• Understanding of machine, tool, and labor utilization in manufacturing processes, and the general process of transforming raw materials into finished goods.

Experience Requirements

• Candidates must possess 0-1 years of experience in a production engineering or a closely related manufacturing role.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a manufacturing setting, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
