RTU / SCADA / Senior Field Engineer

About the Role

Xeon Automation is seeking an experienced RTU / SCADA / Senior Field Engineer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves comprehensive project delivery, from documentation and hardware design to configuration, testing, and quality assurance for RTU and SCADA systems. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare SPL (System Project List) and other essential project documents.
• Assist in the development of project documentation, including methodology.
• Ensure compliance with established quality assurance procedures.
• Deliver all assigned work within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Identify deviations from agreed functionality and discuss them with the Senior Engineer or Project Manager.
• Develop project modules as required.
• Contribute to and develop project documentation.
• Conduct full integrated system testing.
• Perform customer acceptance testing.
• Supervise top-end SCADA configuration and development.
• Oversee installation and assembly processes.
• Execute configuration tasks from scratch.

Required Technical Expertise

Candidates must possess hands-on experience with the following devices and systems:

• ABB RTU 560
• ABB SOE 560
• GE RTU D20
• GE RTU 500

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in RTU, SCADA, or field engineering roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project documentation and ensure quality assurance.
• Strong technical skills in hardware design, installation, configuration, and testing of SCADA and RTU systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a field-based environment.

Work Location

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be required to work within Saudi Arabia.
