About the Role of Storekeeper

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Storekeeper for a full-time position in Jeddah, Makkah. This role is responsible for the efficient receiving, organizing, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring proper storage and accurate inventory management. The Storekeeper will also uphold food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment within the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize merchandise by department, ensuring proper placement within the facilities.
• Deliver merchandise to the appropriate departments as required.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts for efficient storage.
• Complete request forms for stock and provisions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Notify the manager or supervisor promptly regarding low stock levels.
• Receive deliveries, store perishable products correctly, and implement stock rotation procedures.
• Inspect deliveries, verifying dates, freshness, cleanliness, soundness, and overall quality of all items.
• Reject damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items upon delivery.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and handling policies and procedures for food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; complete required safety training and obtain certifications.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintain a neat and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Communicate with guests and colleagues using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform physical tasks including stretching, bending, twisting, crawling, stooping, grasping, turning, manipulating objects, climbing stairs/ramps, and lifting/carrying objects weighing 50 pounds or less. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience is required. No supervisory experience is necessary for this position.
• License or Certification: None specified.
