Role Overview: Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware

Avensys Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware to join their team. This contract position is based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a professional with 8+ years of experience in managing enterprise Windows Server and virtualization environments, possessing strong expertise across various technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

Manage enterprise Windows Server and virtualization environments.
Provide production support for systems and networks.
Perform systems tasks and close VA/CR findings.
Work on shifts as required.

Required Skills and Experience

In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and services.
Advanced understanding of Active Directory, including group policy management and DNS.
Experience with virtualization technology like VMware and VCF components.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and management tasks.
Strong troubleshooting skills for common hardware and software problems.
Strong grasp of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues.
Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Exchange, Citrix, and SCCM.
Familiarity with security best practices, including patch management and access controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills for team collaborations.
