Nestlé Saudi Arabia is part of the world’s largest Food and Beverage Company, committed to maintaining a dynamic and efficient supply chain. We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our team in Jeddah for a full-time position, contributing to the seamless movement of goods within our operations.

Role Overview

The Transport Planner is responsible for managing inbound and outbound transportation operations within the plant. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods by optimizing transportation planning, coordinating with logistics providers, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Transport Planner collaborates closely with warehouse teams, suppliers, and external transport providers to enhance overall efficiency and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily inbound and outbound transport activities to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Optimize transport planning to reduce costs while maintaining service excellence.
• Ensure full compliance with Nestlé SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards and local transport regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to align transport schedules with operational needs.
• Monitor carrier performance, address service issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of shipments, reducing delays and discrepancies.
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying and implementing transport efficiency improvements.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections of transport operations.
• Track and analyze transport KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per trip, carrier efficiency).
• Identify areas for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to synchronize transport with material handling.
• Address transport-related issues and work with suppliers for resolution.
• Maintain accurate transport records, invoices, and compliance documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Experience working with 3PL providers and freight management systems.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning and fleet management principles.
• Familiarity with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) regulations related to transport.
• Proficiency in SAP transactions related to transport and logistics.
• Ability to analyze transport cost drivers and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for smooth collaboration across teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve operational excellence in transportation.
