About the Role

Balahmer Real Estate is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join its team. This full-time position is based in Makkah and Jeddah, focusing on the precise measurement and cost management of construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and efficiency of both residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conduct comprehensive quantity surveying for various construction works.
• Review architectural and engineering plans, accurately calculate quantities, and verify their precision.
• Develop and review cost abstracts and statements, and monitor changes in the scope of work to manage project costs effectively.
• Analyze and compare price offers from suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
• Coordinate closely with project teams and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution and cost control.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and quantity management.
• Proven experience in residential and commercial projects, with a preference for those in contracting and real estate development.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Familiarity with other relevant quantity management and calculation software is preferred.

Core Competencies

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent follow-up abilities to track project progress and cost variations.
• Proficiency in preparing clear and concise professional reports.

Work Environment

This role operates within the dynamic Contracting and Real Estate Development sector, focusing on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects across Makkah and Jeddah. The Quantity Surveyor Engineer will contribute to projects that shape the urban landscape of these key regions.
