The Opportunity: Farm Planner

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Farm Planner to join its team in Hail. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the optimal health, welfare, and productivity of poultry flocks through diligent daily care, monitoring, and effective farm management practices. The Farm Planner will contribute to maintaining consistent production performance by adhering to established biosecurity standards, feeding programs, and environmental controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily care, monitoring, and management of poultry flocks to ensure healthy growth, welfare, and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain biosecurity standards, feeding programs, and environmental controls to achieve optimal egg or meat output.
  • Support overall farm operations by assisting with routine tasks such as vaccination, record-keeping, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Poultry Production, or Animal Science.
  • 4-5 years of experience in GP (Grandparent) farms.

Required Competencies

  • Comprehensive understanding of poultry farming, with specific knowledge of breeding farms.
  • Proficiency in brooding, feeding practices, and egg collection procedures.
  • Strong commitment to animal welfare, safety standards, and achieving farm production goals.
  • Demonstrated precision in monitoring flock health, feed quality, and environmental conditions.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies, methods, and regulatory changes within the industry.
  • Effective team collaboration skills, enabling successful work with veterinarians, engineers, farm managers, and policymakers.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Hail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic multinational team focused on furthering the group's growth plans.
