About the Merchandiser Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO), known in Arabic as شركة سدافكو, is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join its team in Hail. This full-time role is essential for ensuring SADAFCO products are consistently available and prominently displayed at the point of purchase, adhering to established planograms and customer contracts. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Merchandising Responsibilities

• Replenish shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays according to company guidelines.
• Ensure adequate stock of relevant SKUs in outlets to maintain designated display areas as per contract terms and planograms, coordinating with the sales team.
• Maintain excellent product presentation in line with merchandising policy, planograms, and space rental agreements.
• Implement product rotation to prevent expiry issues, ensuring products nearest to expiry dates are positioned at the front of the shelf.

Operational Execution and Compliance

• Diligently use company-provided tools, such as the Merchandising App, to track store performance and inventories as per Team Leader/Merchandising Supervisor guidelines.
• Capture and submit pictures of executed shelves and displays in accordance with company requirements.
• Position Point of Sale (POS) material in appropriate locations and replace old or damaged POS materials.
• Verify that the current and correct price is displayed for all products at all times.
• Ensure all company assets, including racks, stands, chillers, and freezers, are clean and, if necessary, arranged for replacement or repair.

Market Intelligence and Journey Planning

• Report observed competitor activities in the market, such as pricing, new products, or promotions, to the line manager (Team Leader/Merchandising Supervisor).
• Adhere strictly to the Journey Plan (JP) and specified visit frequency.
• Follow company policy regarding date codes and the management of aging products, liaising with the sales team to support returns as per policy.

Customer Service and Professional Conduct

• Provide support to customers and resolve concerns by responding appropriately to requests, such as providing information on stock levels or addressing issues with chillers or freezers.
• Maintain grooming and personal appearance in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure the company vehicle is clean, both inside and outside.
• Verify that delivered products are in excellent, undamaged condition, representing SADAFCO professionally.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum completed High School degree.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated discipline, precision, organization, and a proactive approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Possession of a full driving license with a clean history.
